MOSCOW: X5 Retail Group, a leading Russian food retailer that operates the Pyaterochka, Perekrestok and Chizhik retail chains, announces that ACRA rating agency has assigned the highest credit rating of AAA (RU) to the Company. The rating outlook is “stable.”
According to ACRA, the main factors underlying X5’s rating included the Company’s strong operational profile, its leading position in the Russian food retail market, and its high levels of profitability and liquidity. In addition, the agency noted the positive dynamics of X5’s operating results in the first half of 2022 on the back of a reduction in total debt.
